Tannat

Smoke on the Water:  Deep Purple.  Mysterious and enticing nose of juicy forest fruits.  ‘The woods are lovely, dark and deep’ with Black fruit, brown cardamom and generous wisps phantasmic smoke on the back palate.  A bastille-like tannin structure tightly holding back the depth of concentrated fruit, waiting to be released at length.  Grilled Meats or hearty dishes as warm companions.  Barbeque Asado meats with Chorizo and chimichurri, Beef Bourguignon or slow-cooked stews.
